Welcome to

We are a team composed of a husband and wife, who are fortunate to have the support of our son, his partner, and  grandchildren. Our humble abode is located in the rural west of Wales, where we live and work amidst the idyllic Welsh countryside, taking care of our beloved beef cattle and sheep. Our small farm is home to a few rare breed chickens (if Mr. Fox doesn’t pay a visit), a large vegetable patch, and our son and partner’s goat rental business. We also have a “grow it, cook it, eat it” lifestyle, where we aim to utilise the produce we cultivate as much as possible.

Our furry friends, the dogs, are an integral part of our daily life. We cherish them deeply, and there is nothing quite like a refreshing early morning walk with them in the bluebell wood, or a peaceful midnight stroll in the moonlit fields (yes, we even walk them at midnight!). Although there are times when the weather can be a nuisance, and we find ourselves having to towel-dry them after every walk – which they seem to enjoy more than we do. We have two dedicated dog fields on our property, while the rest of the farm is divided between the cattle and sheep and is subject to the whims of the weather, and of course, the dreaded mud!

We are grateful to live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by our family and animals, which is why we seldom venture beyond our property’s boundaries. One of our favourite spots is “Paradise Corner,” which is situated at the far end of the farm, where a small river flows. This spot is a favourite of our dogs and grandchildren, who love to play in the water. The woods are another beloved location for our dogs, which we visit daily, though their proximity also makes it easier for Mr. Fox to steal our chickens.
